Spent about three hours at Soda Lake this evening. In the three hours caught six small mouth bass, who were all about 10 inchs. For the bass I used a Yamamoto curly tailed grub in pumpkin. Tried several other colors but pumpkin was the only one to produce.
Then as the sun settled down drifed a worm just over the bottom. Landed four Walleye and lost one. The one keeper was 19 inches, and the others were in the 12-15inch range, including the one I lost. I've only fished this lake about three times now, so not bad.
Kept the one Walleye, released the rest for another day.
PS
Do not forget your bug repellent. Mosquitoes will eat you alive.
