Hit the lake at day break started with the spook and landed this 5.13 casting into the fry bass with a fast walk the dog action. The next fish 5.2 was caught on the jig. The 3rd on the jig also and it was 4.14 no a bad day on the water. The fish were in the weeds in 3'-5' of water. Water temp started out at 68* and warmed to 71* by 11 am. There were skiers on the water at 6 am. Fish like that keep me going back all fish released.

Nice catches ! I was there yesterday also from about 12 pm to 5pm , the bite was really slow and I only caught one fish 4#8oz . Morning bite and late night bite seem to be the hit atm. I seen fish near the bass fry as well but they where very skittish as if they had been caught very recently lol. Tried buzzbaits , frogs , jerk baits, jigs , worms , craws , creatures , floating rapala , spinner baits, only thing that got me a bite was a 4" smoke tube with copper and black fleck.

Great job Trent =) .

I never changed up stayed with the jig on one rod and the spook on the other. The fish were on the edges of the weeds I didn't get any thing off the bank or the docks, overhangs I fished the cover good all around the Lk with no luck. They were out in open water. Thanks, it was a tough bite!!
