New to fishing in Washington. Got skunked 2wks ago at Silver.. then other wek was skunked all day fishing 3 lakes and a river in Idaho. 3rd time turned out to be a charm. Started fishing Sprague at about 9am; was bottom fishing with worm and marshmallow for about 45min...no action so put a bobber on ,same bait and 5 min got a strike and hauled in a 2.5-3lb rainbow. Rest of the day nothing no bites no fish. Weather was real windy lake was choppy most people were unlucky that day. So 1 bite one nice fish...atleast I had something to show for this time. Going to Newman in a week for some bass.
