Found a couple hours so I hit Haller since I haven't really fished it before, it is 5 minutes from home, and I have seen a couple good reports on it. It was cloudy, gusting, and threatening rain, but still pretty warm out. Had one pole rigged with a big ol Senko, and the other with a black topwater frog. 1st cast with the senko, fish on and I'm thinking, this might be a good evening! Turned out to be a dink. It was the only fish caught on the senko. I did pick up two Largies just over 2# each on the frog though. The 1st I was actually picking up the frog to recast when he grabbed it, scared the begeesus out of me. I love topwater hits! I did lose 2 or 3 other hits on the frog, but practice make perfect right! Never did rain, and I was the only human I saw the whole time there. I was on the water from 7-9pm. Nice quiet evening - felt like a rushed outing though, I will definately be back to put a little more time on this little lake. Sorry no pics this time...
