My dad, 5yo son, and I went out from 3pm 8:30pm. It was very slow for us! I usually fish in the morning, and all my morning "honey holes" on the south end were not producing. We ended up catching 8 perch (only one of which was bigger than 9", my minimum keeping size), 4 pumpkinseed, 3 crappie (right before dusk), and one bullhead catfish. Although the fishing was less than good, Grandpa and boy had fun clowning around in the boat as I was cursing the fish gods!

Man fetch, sounds like a tough day especially for you, because you usually whack em out there! I have been spending all my time on Lk Washington, but am surprised that those big perch schools haven't moved up to the outside weed edges yet! At least you had fun out there, good luck to you on your next outing! -Dave
