HOLY MOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tremendous fishing day today!!!!!!!!!!! Started off the day with my dad catching the family's personal best smallie near some docks while slow-rolling a spinnerbait. It was ginormous man!

As the sun came out, we decided to hit some lily pads. We went to one of out secret spots and decided to initially throw some crankbaits with no avail. We caught some smaller dinkers, but no hawgs. I decided to switch to a texas-rigged chart. grub, and threw it in the pads. First cast, and BAM! I hooked a true monster. It boiled the water, and my line was going crazy. We eventually landed the mossback, but it barely fit in our net thats meant for trouts! Again, personal family best for largemouth bass. Its a monster!!!!!!!!!

After some decent perch and trout, my dad switched from his spinnerbait to a crankbait and decided to fish near where i caught my hawg. few casts later, he hooked my fish's sister! It was a few feet from the boat, and my clumsy dad lost it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hook came right out of its mouth, and out of my dad's mouth came cuss words! oh well, atleast he caught his monster smallie and i caught my behemoth mossback.


After 100 photos, we let both of them go. We hope they spawn and produce thousands more fingerlings that'll grow to be lunkers like them! :)

This has become our favorite lake this year. The fishing is great, and the lunker bass population has been on a rise. Try it out! It's awesome!
