Well finally i got my first bass out of Haller and it's a personal best!! Gringo and Quad and my good fishing buddy Ryan get a big shout out for making me keep on fishing this lake!!

Now for the report and I have to say that the morning didn't start off to good. First I was late because I didn't get all that much sleep so I couldn't get out of bed and didn't get on the water until about 7am. While getting my float tube blown up it flipped over and all my lures fell all over. So I get out on the water and my buddy Ryan has already and caught 3 bass and later on a pretty big perch about 10 or so inches. So I'm starting in the hole and as we're working our way around the lake I notice this HUGE splash under the dock just to the right of me and I have on my top water popper trying to get this thing to hit but soon i switch over to a original rapala floating lure and I get it tossed under the dock and WHAM as soon as it touches the water she inhailed it! And then the fight was on that i can not put that into words but it was awesome! Tight lines and take it from me never give up on a lake that has never given you a fish cause you never know what can happen!!

BigBowkes, Awesome report! Glad you stuck with the lake. I fished this lake a couple years for trout, and never so much as had a bite Nice photo too. Let me know if you want to hit it sometime.

thanks everyone!
Gringo I was thinking the same thing when I saw your photo!! When you're out there head over to the east side of the lake where that massive slide is and you'll see there's no missing it and it's the dock right next to it. In the photo looking at it the dock is on the left not in the photo.

Good to know, haven't caught anything in that area. That slide is pretty cool, bet it could skip a skinny kid 1/2 way across the lake!
