Another Great week of fishing here on Lake Chelan..The Chinook are still on the bite the first 2 hours of the mornings along with a strong Laketrout bite..Fish those Ace Hi-fly by Silverhorde next to the bottom to be most productive..Also troll a whole herring. Laketrout bite has been best while using the U-20 in the Purple glow pattern by Warden lures trolling this presentation within 3 to 5 ft. from the bottom..There is a lot of big fish still showing on Mack Bar and more are showing at the Yacht Club..Troll that Ace Hi-fly with a strip of either Pikeminnow or herring at these location..

I cannot stress it enough now that we are experiencing the heat of summer to keep hydrated while on the boat and to pay close attention to weather report if planning to venture up to the head waters of Lake Chelan. The wind can turn a great adventure into a nightmare..

For all of you that have Prop boats really watch for the floating debris.
