Was on the lake by 6am, fished from east to west, north to south without a bite. Even drifted floating a worm, power bait and still nothing! I am wondering if this lake is not fished out? I have only seen one here or one there caught for the past month...hmmm? Futhermor, I have only seen one catfish come out of there, NOTHING else...any thoughts?

Not sure how this lake could be fished out.I've fished here 3 times this year and only seen 1 fish caught. They stocked a whopping 398 fish this year so there should still be 397 left...right?
Seriously though this lake sucks this year.I really like the Henlys and dont want to ruin their business, they have had a very rough couple of years.I doubt if the browns or brookies will ever come back but they used to do a great job of stocking it from their own net pens plus wdf plants.Just hope next year they get a bigger plant and have time to raise their own again.

I spent the week-end out there. I think the problem is all of the bait fish in the water. There were thousands of fry in the water near the dock and around the boat. But like goneshootin said this has not been a good couple of years for the Henlys. I did see some of the Browns chasing the small schooling fish.

The Henlys are good people, that is a fact! I will keep going back just because I want them to do well. With that being said, 398 fish is not that many. I have seen browns chase the millions of fry at the top however, you cant get them to bite anything! Well, guess nothing left to say but good luck to all and ME!
