It was a beautiful day for a picnic, a so-so day for fishing. We had a group of three boats, rotating through 15 different fisher people for a catch of about seven fish. ALL DAY 8am - 5pm. There were a few others on the lake in float tubes, canoes and rafts, but few catching anything. Those that were caught were caught on wedding rings (red & green) and worms. There were a few bows and the rest were Kokes. All were about 8"- 11". Deep Lake is a non-gas motor lake so it was quiet & peaceful. An Eagle & Ospray provided some entertainment. There is a $5 parking/launch fee as it is a State Park. The launch is poor, as you have to carry your boat from the parking lot or small road into the Park and down a bank to launch. It does have some nice docks from which to fish. It also has about a mile trail (nice!) to walk around the lake.
