Got on the lake at about 12pm and right off my 2nd cast I had a good hit on my senko but lost it due to stupid lilly pads. Went around the lake with my senko didnt get any action. Decide to troll and see if I could get any action on that and I picked up a nice stock trout. There was another person in a kyak fishing talked to him and he said he had caught a few bass on his rapala. So I decided to use one ended up catching some 5-6" perch 1 bass about 7-8" and then nothing after that. Around 8pm I started trolling the same spinner I was before for trout and in the same spot in about the same amount of time it took me to get going I landed another trout. The HIGHLIGHT of the day the trout got airborne twice and right as I got the net underneath it the hook came flying out smacked me right in the upper cheek and drew blood.......Everything but the trout were realased they are going on the grill in about 20mins from now lol. Most productive day I have ever had at Lake haller. For people in floating devices the lake is pretty still during the evening at around 8ish.

I haven't fished Haller since June, 11, 1987 -- But I did catch a few small largemouth on a black jig.

hey Keith, nice meeting you last night at Haller.
We didn't have much luck fishing from the limited shore access but we were definitely getting some bites around the lilypads. Missed a couple huge hits. i suspect this lake to have some good sized fish seeing as how little it seems to be fished.
