BassDood and I decided to hit Long Lake as it seems the weather is working on changing a little bit. We fished some areas that I hadn't fished from the tube as of yet. I was throwing a baby brush hog with a 1/8 ounce bullet weight pegged. The wind was very light and wasn't as much boat traffic as I was expecting. We were fishing some lily pads and I dropped the brush hog at the edge of the pads and it decided to swim sideways. Set the hook and had a good little fight on my hands. Finally lipped and weighed her ... 4 pounds 6 ounces. My second largest bass to date … 6 ounces shy of breaking my personal best. I had one more nice fish roll over the bait as it came out from the edge of a dock but didn’t take it. Was a pretty good evening as I am always happy catching ... well am happy just fishing too but catching sure adds icing to the cake! Sorry about blur in the picture … I think some fish scent got onto the lens … LOL.
