Crappie, Crappie!

Little Bro & myself decide to spend some time together and try a night trip on Lk. WA WA for the Crappies...NO such luck!!!!! Lil bro caught a dink of a crappie and that's about it. I mean we tried all kinds of spots that I had memory of.

We used white, pink crappie jigs and road runners. Twitched the floats around like crazy and nothing.

Saw a huge carp on lk. Union by the Zymogenetics place..what ever that place is called.

Anyhow, we started out fishing at 5-530pm & ended at 3am. We tried by the boat marina (UW, bust a nut in the cut area-wall posting, opposite side), from there traveled to UW canoe rental dock..1 o.k. size bluegill

Left from that spot and went to log boom park in Kenmore...not even a bite.

Furthermore, went back to Marina area behind UW hospital and that was the most productive spot. 4 pretty good size Rock Bass.

We did not really try for Perch..probably should have to fill the basket up. O well

Overall, had some fun with Lil Bro! As Terminator says" I'll be back Crappie"

I think Aug. is really when the bite picks up at certain docks..at least in retrospect.
