Went out with Brian in the boat to try out this lake. Hadn't been here in years (like 12) and used to kill 'em here with the old man.
Well, there wasn't much going on here this day. Brian and I circled that lake about 8 times, stopped in the deepest part and dropped straight down, used anything and everything we could think of (had a 12 pack to get rid of) and not a bite.
Talked to another gentleman who asked us if we could spare one of the brews and he said this year they just haven't been hittin. Said the lake was stocked, but he doesn't know how many.
We were out there for at least 5 hours. Left before it got too dark. Did get hit on by a couple of high school girls swimming of their dock (that was fun!) but no fish! Not even a bite.
I don't know if I want to come back here this year. Maybe next year!
