Alright, I went out on my boat with Jason, we are both pretty regular Newman anglers. We got launched around 3:30am. Jason had three early morning (still dark) hits on his topwaters. I tried them until daylight with no luck. Once the fog thinned enough for the sun to shine through the water, I dropped a 4 inch purple rubber crawler from the pads edge and had several hits. I missed a lot more then I hooked (my rod sucks and isn't very sensative). I ended up getting four slot sized (from 13inches to 17inches) by 7:30. From 8am till almost 1pm I trolled rapala's for Tiger with no luck. Stopped in the A-Framed Marina for lunch (they make great pizza's try one!) once mid day was done I headed to the far side near the other public area with the big rock and the building. Also notice the large Bald Eagle nest on the same end of the lake. Once again using the rubber worms texas rigged and bouncing along lake floor near pads had strikes and bites. Sadly only one hook set on the smallest fish of the day at 13 inches. Limit reached with no legal keepers. Good day out. Bring your sunscreen and lots of water! I go every thursday early early morning till I get too tired to stay any later. Sometimes it's 7pm sometimes it's not untill 11pm. I drive the little Eagle Summit covered in graffitti and spray paint. Feel free to leave me a message, Jason and I are both will to take people out and show them the spots.
