Grabbed the guys and decided to head out to Baker Lake to try the evening bite. Last time we went in the AM and had no luck, not even a bite. Figured maybe evening was better. Well it wasnt. Trolled the south west shore, south end and east end of lake and no luck, not even a bite. Used wedding rings, flashers, Fly rod with a fly, rooster tail, and Kokanee rig. Didnt even get a bite. Cant figure this lake out, marked fish, even saw some on the surface but nothing biting. Water temp was around 60. we tried surface and different depths. Does anyone know what the scoop is on this lake? Saw a couple guys on the 4th pullin out and they said the same thing. No bites, nothing caught. Any info would be appreciated.

If you are trying for the kokanees, Still fishing is the way to go, as long as you are chumming (mill run, feed eggs cottage cheese). 12 feet deep is usually the best depth, . Areas to fish are anderson creek, maples, white rock, or Noise creek or by the boom Need to find the shelves in the lake or find the river that flows thru the lake,
