We went out on a row boat in lake riley (no gas motors allowed). I was bottom fishing with a worm, and didn't have any luck. My girlfriend caught 8-12" rainbows consistently, casting off the boat and reeling in trolling gear and wedding ring while anchored (could not get an electric motor in time). This lake is always good for catching fish, not always very large.
