Went fishing again in Beaver, this time with my friend Michael. Hit the lake at 5PM, fished up to 9Pm. Started at the same spot as I fished with Scottie, but after an initial good start (6 fish in about 10 minutes) nothing… another full hour with no byte, so back to searching the fish. Finally found them hiding under some Lilli pads, had to thrown within 6 to 10 inches from the pads to get a bite. Was planning on leaving by 8:30, but had a LM (I would guess 1 to 2 pounds) briefly on the hook at the last cast, so stayed another half hour trying to catch it, but nope, only 2 more perch and 1 pumpkinseed. Total of the day: about 30 perch, mostly medium size (only one big for Michael, almost 10 inches) and 3 pumpkinseeds. It was dark when we drove out from the ramp.
