Had intended on dropping the boat in but the trailer was having some wiring
issues,with the sun going down soon,we resorted to the shoreline.
I was tossing a few topwaters,frog/poppers,had a good sized lmb charge out
from under a log but he either didn't care enough for the lure choice/presentation
or saw my ugly mug and bolted.

I rigged the family with worm and bobber(the gills will slam them for sure)
My wife and son were catching hefty bluegills,pumpkinseeds and rock bass.
I decided to join the fun for a bit....just so I could say I caught something.
I too had the same results and then caught a lmb at a whopping 4 inches(lol)
Off the water by sundown, a ton of gills holding very close to the shoreline,check
it out...the kids will have a blast.

All fish were released.
