Got to the lake at 0700. Lanuched the boat and started casting and the son was bobber and worm fishing bout 30 -40 feet from fishing dock. Got nothing, moved down to the private docks on the right on the fishing dock. The son got his first smallie on bobber and worm, was about 5-6 inch. He was very excited. I got nothing. Son kept getting hits with bobber but is only 6 and has not got the fishing thing down yet. We moved to the other end of the lake. I got my first of the day, nice 8 inch smallie. I got 6 more smallie along the docks. 3 were very nice 10-12 inchers. missing another 3. Was using a red and brown rooster tail.. After we moved to the other end the son got no more hits on the bobber worms.

We got off the water about 1100,swimmers were starting to show up.. Was a great day. We will diffently be going back.
