Showed up around 7pm and saw a new sign at the launch describing toxic weeds in the lake and basically not to swim or let your pets swim in lake. nothing about not fishing or eating fish, I always catch and release. went out anyway for an hour or two. Caught about 12 or so bass between my wife and myself. They are still biting!!

no idea. i kind of recall this happening a year or so ago? this lake is very shallow and gets warm quick. fish seem to be still biting. bass i have caught look healthy, but a 13 in trout i caught looked very sick. it had scales missing and the rainbow color looked like it was rotting? I am not a expert by any means, but i dont think eating fish out of loma would be my choice. it says no swimming and not pets swimming. It also says to clean fish good and nothing about eating them? cooking them must kill what ever it is.
I still fish there and still catch bass so game on. if i get a tumor i will post...hahahaha
