Fished on Sunday. Stared around 0500. I went right into the lillys left of boat launch with small popper but no hits. Switched to a shallow running crank, that I swapped the rear hook for a small colorado blade, and used it like a popper/sub surface. As soon as it hit the water, boom!, water flew all over but I only got a hold of lillys. A couple casts later had small one hit and through it about fifteen feet on the hook set and lost it. I need to put a bigger treble on the crank.
I saw a huge swirl back in the way back in the lillys. It was a huge swirl, probably an otter, but I casted a few lures but nothing. I continued around the lillys with a weightless lizard to all pockets, but no fish.
Switched to small craw crank and got 3 in three casts, but they were onlt about a pound a piece. I tired everything else in the box and nothing after that. I even tried small jigs on bobbers for crappie, but again no takers. Off the water at 0900.

I went to Bradley lake in after noon with kids and wifey. fished worms, top water, and cranks, had a couple lite hits, but nothing worth setting hook on. I did meet "head up bass down" though, nice guy, i think he caught a lmb about 2.5 lbs.
