Went to Loma today for the first time. Started out at Ki, caught one little dink there and stayed until about 8:00 a/m. Headed over to Loma and started catching Bass right away. Caught 4 within the first 50 yards from the launch and I thought this is pretty cool. Fished clockwise around the shore and consistantly caught fish throughout the day. Ended up leaving at 1:00 p/m and landed about 20 total. The biggest few were probably around 1lb and the majority of the rest weighed about 1/2-3/4 lb. Nothin very big but consistent action and an enjoyable day. Saw a couple guys in another boat fishing for Bass but not sure how they did.
There is a sign at the launch warning about "toxic algea" so I was a little concerned fishing from a pontoon since my feet were wet all day, but then I guess if I can survive swimming in the Mississippi River as a kid a little "toxic algae" coudn't hurt...
