7/30/2009 12:09:00 PMI have noticed a fair amount of disinformation given in some of these reports, even some of the photos I have noticed are not from the lake they said they were on... Seems like some parties are trying to send others on wild goose chases. Not saying your doing that, it's just is an opportunity for me to share what I believe is happening on this site. I guess it's reader beware. Now I have a tactic that I will share with you about fishing in hot weather: Contrary to even my thinking that fish will go to deeper water, and no doubt they will, I have found trout surprisingly in only inches of water under the shade of overhanging trees or massive down structure providing shade. I have pulled more darn trout out of shady overhangs on hot bright days even when I was not targeting them to start with... Try that next time and thanks for the Crappie report, I mean Perch!!!!!! LOL
