My friend Chris bought a new 10 foot boat off of craigslist, so I grabbed up the gamefisher and we headed on the maiden voyage. headed out to catch em at ketchum. Ive never been to the lake before. I just read a report on here. Decided to hit it. Launched out about 500PM water temp of 73, We headed right off the boat launch to the first patch or grass. I was casting 2 feet leader with a whole jumbo kernal corn, with no weight. and let it sink just reel nd twitch. Instantly starting catching perch. couldnt stop catching perch all night, i had to have brought in 30+ my buddy in the boat was catching a few here or there with bobber and worm. Chris and his girlfriend were numbing gums with corkies and worms. lots of perch, great for place for a dad to take the kid.. I also used nightcrawler with no weight. they were hitting nightcrawler that had been shredded into nothing but a tube of skin and they weres till hitting, ALOT OF PERCH WERE AMAZING IN SIZE. 8 10 inchers frequent, and one of the smallest bluegill and crappie i have ever seen,,, all in all a good trip constant action ultralight tackle = good times
