Well another great 4 days on Lake Chelan..
Laketrout fishing still remains outstanding but the Chinook Bite has slowed somewhat for me over these last 4 days..I did manage to hook up but nothing went in the net on the Kings..
I have been targeting the Lower Basin off Rocky Point mainly because most of the chinook that I have been hooking, have been in this area..Not saying that you cannot find a Chinook elsewhere but good numbers of Kings have been showing up in my daily catch from this location..I have boated 40 out of the 47 Chinook here since the opener..

Try trolling the Ace Hi-fly by Silverhorde in depths from 150 to 240ft to find the biting Lakers..Keep your presentation 2 to 5 feet off the bottom to be most productive..

Another Lure that I have been playing around with is the Kingfisher 4 lite by Silverhorde and it has worked for the laketrout, but I have not been able to bang a Chinook on it yet ,even though this Spoon looks great in the water with it's erratic action I just know that this is going to be another go to bait for me when things are tough..I cannot stress enough on CHANGE..Do not be afraid to change things up either in your speed that your trolling to your lure presentation..It has Played a Major part in my success as a Pro Guide...Thanks again to all that fished with me and also a great thank you to all involved in Washingtonlakes.com.. What a great Site for all of us..Pictured here is Kyle Ciolli and Andy Hamilton from Chehalis, Wa. with 9 out of there 10 lakers boated in a 4 hour outing...
