Fished Banks Lake for 4 days. Got into some great fish prefishing and a few nice ones during the tournament. It took 24lbs for 2 days to win. Fish came on spinnerbaits, grubs, buzzbaits and a few others to. First day we (Adam and I ) caught over 75 fish. Lots of Banks lake specials (12-14 inch) but we had a blast. Large mouth were a little harder to catch but really turned on as the day went on. Temps on Sat 107 Sun 102. Water was in the upper 60's to lower 80's depending on where you were. All in all great few day and will be back soon. This is a great time of year to learn new baits and catch fish on them. So get out and try them now.

I give you a little secret... well two, Osborne Bay holds a good amount of largemouth between June and September in the reeds and using a buzzbait or topwater will work! Lost a descent size one and landed a little one. Also the Spillway across Coulee Playland Resort holds ALOT of fish from smallies, walleyes and trout and carp. Working either a dropshot or texas or carolina rig will be best. But, its quite snaggy! I've caught tons of BIG smallies on live bait. But i'm from the west side of the cascades so i do alot of bass fishing on plastics here.
