Yo,
Had my best luck with a 1/8 oz, chartuse jig head with a 2.5" gulp minnow trailer. Didn't work as well as I think it should of but I was just out to have fun and explore.
I threw a couple times with my 1 oz bucktail Chartuse and black skirt, for the tigers but I wasen't on em. As the sun went down I could tell that they were starting to follow the perch around the surface, big tail spins and claps. But I just couldn't take the night fishing anymore and headed in.
Had most of the bass luck, outside of the weed beds, about 10 feet into the open water, I think the bass are waiting on the corners of the points for the smaller perch and gills.
Caught about 3 perch almost keeper size 9", silver might have some good perch spots now but they're evading me regularly, I was having good success in the winter through the ice picking up the 4" ones so I thought this summer would have an explosion of 9" but nothing so far.
One crappie on the gulp minnow, barely 7", I hope silver starts to explode some growth, i'm getting a little feed up with the whitefish fishing in spokane county, getting me a little frustrated.
Tight lines and heavy nets,
E
