Took the family camping at Park Creek Campground, across the road from Baker Lake Resort. We put in at the launch at the resort around 10:30am and trolled until about 3:00pm - No Sonar, No Downrigger, No Fish! - I should have just went down to Grandy Lake and went for the large mouths.

I feel the need for some revenge fishing now.

Dont feel bad, I have been out there about 5 times and have yet to catch anything. See them on sonar and even breaking surface yet nothing, no bites.

i hit baker every couple weeks or so and the only fish we caught have been pulled from shore with spoons or spinners. always different times of day with no real rhyme or reason it seems.

I was not expecting much on this trip, and that is what I got. The one thing that was biting were the skeeters!

The fish and game department has switched to managing this lake for the Baker River Chinook, so they eat the kokanee and hence you see the fish on the finder but the kokanee are gone.
