Nana flew in to visit us and the grandkids and wanted to go fishing so I decided perch fishing at Sammimish would provide plenty of action. We got there around 2:00 and launched and while going back to my boat I found a man lying unconcious in the parking area called 911 and they arrived and he came to and I was able to go fishing. We were perch fishing and catching many and some 11 to 13 inches also some large pumpkinseeds 3 largemouths 8 to 10 inches we went through 4 boxes of worms in 4 hours lost track of how many fish but the highlight was Nana catching 3 good sized smallmouths and one was over 4 pounds and hit a worm. All fish were released unharmed to fight another day. She told me and my wife this was her best fishing day ever and we were glad to give it to her. Tight lines

Hi Tracker. I was just leaving the lake when I saw that man on the ground. I saw a person on the phone with 911 so I didn't stop to help. the meds got there quickly. I am glad you had a great time fishing with your family. That was a heck of a nice smallmouth she caught. I caught a bass similar in size today on the lake. It seems the perch are starting to school up a little bit off the weeds by the sounds of it. Sounds like a great day on the lake. Take care.
