First time here as well.
Wanted to launch the boat but the gate was closed. So we grabbed our gear and walked
to the launch. Started seeing fish right away. I tossed a few topwaters and cranks but
couldn't connect. Went back to the basics of worm and bobber. My 3 year old caught
the first fish,a little agressive perch around 5-6 inches,followed by a few more...my wife
ended up catching a few bluegills. No bass caught this time but we did see plenty
of them roaming around,we'll be back again soon.

Weather was sunny and water smooth as glass.
All fish released.
