Noob here and have been checking out the site for any tips. Got some gear on Friday, went out to Bitter Lake and Green Lake Saturday, late morning and early evening. Got a 6" something at Bitter on a yellow mepps spinner but that was it and later headed out to Green lake and tried a bunch of spinners off the dock by the aqua theater with no luck. The little guys liked to follow it up to the dock but then quickly run off. Went back to the dock on Monday evening and myself and another guy were there for a couple of hours and nothing for either of us. I was mainly using a dark Yamamoto weedless hook up but still nada. Anyway, just wondering if it's a bad time of year for lake fishing or it's harder from shore or bad technique or what? Any advice would be appreciated. Might have to head up to Snoho river and check out that action, lived up in Alaska and miss the fight of a good salmon. Hell, I'll take another 6"er at this point. Thanks
