Arrived at Clear Lake around 10:30am, clear sunny skies, air temperature was around 70 degrees and the water temperature was 68 degrees. Water was stained and visibility was around 6 or 7 feet.
This was the first time of fishing with my wife since we have been married, so wasn't expecting much to happen. Got the pontoons launched around 11:00 or so and paddled out and marked fish suspended around 25-30 feet in 40 feet of water. Sent the wifey out with a worm and 3/8oz. weight, dropped about 20 feet of line and drifted with the breeze. She managed to hook and land one Kokanee about 14 inches and of course...I caught nothing trolling around a leech. Had fun either way. Left around 2:00.
