On the water around 7:30AM Friday. Air temp in the 40s brisk breeze, and water temp was around 60 degrees at the launch. Headed up to the lowermost pens, fished to around noon. Caught several and kept our limit each. Cindy kept her two fish , then had to wait awhile for me to catch a keeper second fish. I caught one on The Pellet Fly, and the others were caught on a B-2 Squid, and plastic jigs in dark colors. Ended up with two 5s, a 6+, and a 7+, There was a slight current present today. Wind was strong at times, and on the trip home there was stretches of the river that was rough. It was cool enough we were comfortable in coveralls while on the water. A few boats at the pens, and they were catching fish, both trolling and bait.
The water temp continues to drop, and the fishing will only get better.
