Additional Notes:
I would like to thank G-Man for an awesome time today! I wavered back and forth to give this a 3 or 4 star. The fishing was solidly average for this fishery...but the quality and size of fish was awesome! This is a new fishery for me. I teamed up with Gerhard (G-Man) in my boat and we both shared a lot of great information on our favorite places we like.

Sorry I cut the top of your head off in that shot. After recuperating in your live well, that fish wouldn't hold still for a moment!

Very nice fish.

I just can't get myself to pull flashers for Cutts ... By the time I add the flasher, it just kills the "fight" or fun for lite gear fishing. I guess I'm Olde school in that regard.... Yellow Chartruese wedding rings (homemade) are my Fav!

One thing I will share .... My father gave me a couple old .. olde... olde Abalone spoons from back in the 60's when they used to troll those in Elliot Bay for Kings and Silvers. I've discovered those 2 spoons work great in Lake Washington, both in the spring for the early Rainbows and in the fall as well, for the Cutts. If you can get some, and watch their action and color in the water it is just amazing ... no other man made spoon is quite the same, and they are very, very lite in comparison. Lots of action with a slow troll. I keep my eye out at swap meets and garage sales every now and then one will pop up.
