On the water around 10AM with a little fog on the water.
First tried a spinnerbait,followed by a jig with no results.Even tried out my
drop shotting skills with a Senko but nothing either. Then fell back on my
most productive lure...the almighty Rapala X-Rap in a rainbow trout pattern.
Worked it slow with quick twitches and pauses. Got 5 bass total but all small,nothing
even close to my previous report. Bass still seem to be all over the place at all depths...
saw a few around logs in 2-3 feet of water. I tied off for a bit on the red/white buoy(looks
like a giant bobber) on the north end,where my son caught several large perch and 2 small
crappies by dropping a worm all the way to the bottom and reeling up just about a foot.
All fish released.
Weather was sunny with a water temp of 59.
