Arrived at clear lake at 0645, it was a balmy 34, tried every thing from poppers to dragging jigs and just a couple of shorts strikes here and there. I have a cheap depth finder so i don't really trust it yet. I think it is 260 mhz by 120mhz, but at least i can see bottom. It looked like fish were holding at about 34ft. tried blade baits and jigging spoons but no takers. Guys trolling were limiting on kokes about 12 inches long. water was 55.

I was hoping the season there would go out with a bang but i guess it was just a whimper. On to Tapps for the rest of the winter.

I was at whitman last week and caught 6 all little pounders on 3 inch grubs.

It looks like the rivers are out don't forget you can look at rirver flow in the "links' section in stead of wastin time driving to river.
