Hit up Goodwin today.The plan was to find some smallies.No luck for the first couple hours or so.Then i decided to try troling for some trout.Well it didn't take long.Got 2 within about 20 min on a gold,flo.orange triple teaser.While trolling i kept seeing some marks on the bottom along this one spot.I decided to try drop-shotting a roboworm in 23-30 feet.Well that was the right move.I got 5 smallies 1-2 pounds all within about 30 min.Bite slowed so decided to try to fill my trout limit.Started trollin a f-5 rapala and got 3 more fatty trout.Lost one though.The trout fishing is great there right now.saw several caught and 3 guys in a little alum.had limits or close to it.They were over 30-35 feet using bobbers and ??? bait.
All my trout were 14-17 inches.
