Hit Eloika again without as much luck. Even after all of the rain and warm weather, the ice was a strong 8"-10" thick in all areas fished. We fished for about 6 hours and landed only 6. 3 were decent crappie. 2 perch and one grass pike. Really confusing lake this time of year. Most of the fish seem scattered and difficult to please. Becuase all of these fish are schooling, it is unusual to catch only one per hole before I feel like I need to walk about 100yds and drill again. Hopefully it picks up again.

I didn't see the trout, but I have noticed people putting the dink perch out on the ice. most of the eyes were missing so I assume they are using these for bait. I also saw a few grass pike out on the ice past Jerry's. I'm heading out again tomorrow north of Jerry's. good luck
