Fished Rufus for the first time, left spokane at 6am or so and after missing a turn a few times ended up on the water at about 9ish. Tried trolling and castings, csr 7 raps, panther martins, rostertails, and everything else in the tackle box. Even tried powerbait and worms to no avail. About the only thing we didnt try that i wanted to were bluefins b2 squid jigs and thats because the white elaphant was out of them. Saw someone catch about a 9 pounder think it was anton the guide in the red boat. Overall it was a good experence and my first time fishing out of a boat in Jan. Put in at the fist launch down river of the dam and fished infront of both pens. Saw a bunch of mule deer and enjoyed being on the water fishing (not catching lol)
