1/11/2010 7:18:00 PMJacob Marabou jigs can be relatively easy to to ty 1/16 or 1/8 oz jigs and some marabou feathers in black. brown and green and you are in business.Zaskar those are some nice fish. How long of a run is it to the first pens from the cabin?

1/12/2010 9:15:00 AMGanno the run is maybe 5 or six miles at most, we would run up to the upstream side of the pens and let the current float us along the front jigging as we went, the current does take the 1/8th jighead and move it around quite a bit, that is why i tried the heavier weight with dropshot setup to get a more straight up-and-down presentation.
