Lake Chelan remains very good for Laketrout in the Lower Basin...Yacht Club area is now picking up on some bigger Lakers that are staging to attack the migrating Kokanee as they move down into the lower basin.
When fishing the lower lake you will want to keep your presentation 1 to 3 ft. off the bottom at all times..trolling speed should be 1.2 to 1.5 to be most productive..Flatfish has been working well and the Ace Hi-fly in Green with a Glow in the Dark Smile Blade by Macks Lures in front has proven affective also.

I added a Pic. of me and the boat on this report..If you see me out either on Lake Chelan or at Rufus Woods give me a shout..I have no secrets at either Rufus Or Chelan so feel free to ask me anything and I will do my best to help you out or confuse the dickins out of you.:) Tight lines to all and be safe...

Once again Joe, a nice bunch of fish. It looks like snow in the pic. We headed out to RW early this AM, so all we had to contend with was the fog. Take care, and keep those smiles coming.

It's great reading your comments Joe and the pictures are cool to see also. My wife and I are planning on coming over to Chelan fishing in the near future. You said fishing off the bottom 1 to 3 feet was the best, do you use drown rigger of just lead to get down their. Take care and keep fishing forever

Thanks for the kind words...I do fish Downriggers ..I use 12lb cannonball weight with Scotty electric Downriggers..If there was a lake specifically for downriggers, Chelan would be it ..Good Luck on your outing and hey give me a call when you are in Chelan and I can help you with where the fish are Biting..
