I dont know what to think % fish in the past two weeks and 10 plastic baits SOMETHING is really wrong. I wwould love to here more opinions on this. I dont know what to think. Well any way hopefully the fishing picks up on the lake soon. Think iam gooing to try some of blufinlouies set up and see if they work.Dont think I can match his set ups perfectly but Ill give it my all. Good fishin TROLLER

Howdy troller, on the Plastic balls, could they be the "power Bait" type eggs. Not sure what they would be like in a fishes stomach. Some of the products out there are biodegradable (I think) so should break down. But I'm sure some of the "Artificial" eggs, and clusters would not be biodegradable. just a thought. ** I would rig the B-2s in-line and troll them without any attractors ahead of them. Start with your leader weight of choice, tie on your hook, then add a couple of "Small" beads of your choice, then a 1/8oz bullet weight (if you are long lining), and no bullet weight if you are using downriggers. Thread the line up through the Squid, push the bullet weight (hopefully point first) into the body of the squid from the tentacle end after lubing the weight with saliva (or your smelly Jelly of choice if legal to do so. The hook bend should be in the tentacles when the weight is in the body. Tie a good quality swivel (not a snap swivel) on the leader 24" or so from the squid, and tie your mainline to the other end of the swivel. When trolled, the squid should travel through the water in an irratic pattern. If you are using flashers or blades with success, by all means use them with the squid, but on RW, I find it doesn't seem to increase the odds for me. On your body of water, experiment with colors, different weights, to find the combo that works. Good luck with your outings, and look forward to your future reports.

Blufin loui Really appriceate the advice.Well try it out to tomorrow or friday and let you know how it works. For the other on the plastics there was one 6"crawler in 1 fish,Another was two 8" powerworms , the next 2 fish Each had one 8" powerworm,And the last one had a 4" crawdad one 4" lizard And two 8" powerworms. My definetion of power worms being extremly large in diameter.Yes my mesurements might be off becuase I am a fisherman so I am a liar when it comes to size LOL. thanks

LOL I've always "heard" size don't matter, so be it. LOL. It's amazing the things trout will eat. Best of luck on the outing, and being "forewarned" I look forward to some "Exaggerated" fishing reports. LOL
