Well, been visiting this site for years so I thought I would give back... Signed up a few days ago so this is my first report. Normally wouldn't give up info so easily to so many, but this is an excellent site and I like I said I've gotten so much from it I think it's time to give back.
So went to Riffe Lake yesturday to fish a few different spots. First just bellow the Falls Damn above the lake. I love river fishing. First cast BAMMMMMM nice 19" bow. What a blast and much to the dismay to the other two fishermen across the river that hadn't caught anything for hours before I showed up. Now thinkin' "oh yes it's going to be one of those awsome days". It was beautiful, partly cloudy and sunny. A teaser for spring.
Believe it or not, and obvisiously the fishing gods making sure I still understood who's really in control, that was my only fish all day LOL... I live in Federal Way so it was a bit of a drive. I fished that spot for several hours. I then moved to Riffe Damn, but the water was too low. So I dropped down to Swafford Pond for S&Gs.... Nothing. But, I haven't fished for a while due to back surgery so it was wonderful to get out into nature no matter what happened.
I look forward to talking with all of you and hopefully get to meet some of you. My girlfriend and I recently bought a 16' bayliner deep hull and are looking for some people to help us out in learning fishing on the sound. Let me know if anyone's interested.
Take care and tight lines.
Oh and sorry for no pics. I will try and make that a habit.
