Water temps were 44-45.5*, and that is about all I have to tell thanks to a moment of DOH! on my part. Inspired by Buzzbait's recent report, I ran to Goodwin today, 1) to run some fuel system cleaner through my motor, and 2) to try my hand at trolling for smallies.... However, I was only able to troll from the County Park north to "the flats", because I forgot to switch my charging leads from my cranking battery back to my trolling battery when I charged my boat last time, and that trolling battery already had three trips on it......DOH! Boy did I feel like a Homer! The good thing was I marked a few fish this trip, and am finding some cool deep structure throwing 1/2oz weighted tubes! I will have to try again next week, as I am feeling a need to run to Terrell tomorrow???
