2/8/2010 6:12:00 PMThanks for the report. I can't claim to be an expert on the lake but do fish it frequently in the off-season. Although some are catching fish, it has been my experience that the bite doesn't really start picking up until the water temp gets into the 50 degree range. I made a couple trips in Jan caught a few but nothing to brag about. I usually troll for Koks in the 80 to 90 ft. water on the other side of Silcox Island and have pulled out some 14 to 16 inch fish. I have also seen some decent fish landed over by the VA Center. Tight Lines!!!
