Went out from 8-12ish it was a little chilly to start, started looking for perch to see if the lake was alive. Boy was i wrong, not even a bite. Fished this lake for 10+ years and never found myself leaving without a fish... I trolled a dodger and worm, and dodger and roster tail a few times around the lake. Not a bite, not strike, not evan nibble. I worked the bottom, then the top and finished trolling 8ft under the surface. A bad day for boaters.

I saw a few other fisherman on shore, all of which landed nothing...
I put on some powerbait, pink, and then green and found nothing alive. I worked my way to little beaver, and the owner on the side of the slough built a dam, so no one can go through.... Shame on him....

I think all fish are now in little beaver, and there trapped in there haha

I've fished this lakes years on out and have landed the record triloids for truck, monster 6-8lb bass, 20inch perch, 16in sunfish, and i think the lake has been over fished. There are guides now that go in the lake and have made a new rep for the lake.

Well, time to find another lake...

I fished lake washington two days prior and landed bass, and trout. Thinking of hitting the little lakes in duval for some monster bass.

Good luck on the lake!

and talk with the game warden, he'll give you some tips

Sad news, but I wouldn't doubt it being fished out consider every human being on the eastside seems to be there when I go there. What is the scoop with the lakes in Duvall? Never fished there, but pretty close to where I live in Sammamish.

zodiac, was the dam built on passage to the upper lake or the lower lake?

WOW! I've been fising Beaver Lake since the early 70s and have never seen anything close to a 20 inch Perch or a 16 inch Sunfish. In fact i've never seen a 20 inch Perch or a 16 inch Sunfish, not in Eastern Wa, or Western Wa. That must be a record. Did you acually measure them?

Amazing, I had no idea the fish grew that big in there. The only other place I know to get 16 inch sunfish is in the ocean. :) Thanks for the the report.

Washington State record for a Sunfish is only 1 lb. I think someone got a little carried away with the size estimate.
