First trip with the boat fixed and headed to Terrell due to recent reports. Wasn't to be for me today, seven rods saw multiple baits, techniques and colors, only hit was on a swimbait on the shore directly across from the launch on the far side of the lake by a stump. Fished every depth from ultra shallow back by the "islands", all around and through "reed point" both the west and north shorelines twice, even drug worms with the wind down the middle to rest for a bit.
Day started overcast with a 5-10mph wind out of the west, ended mostly sunny. Water temps were 47.2 to 49.9 with the shallower water being the warmest. Once the sun came out, the water rose to a steady 48.5.
At least the motor seemed to work fine, after I had to reconnect the trim tilt wires, good grief.
