Was in the area so decided to stop by Caliche for a hour. Fished on the west sided of the lake. There were several fisherman near the boat launch, southside, and east side of the lake. Saw several fish being caught.

I used a red crappie jig about 24" below a bobber. Got consistant hits, but missed alot of fish. I think the majority of my bites were from the Perch. I did hook three 12-13" planters, landed two.

It was sunny but the wind was breezy/cold so I only stayed for about an hour. Next week I'll try Burke and will be back at this lake to target the Perch.
