3/15/2010 5:23:00 AMWe have been seeing the Kokanee get active early and late. I expect they will catchable within a couple of weeks. That will make them 3 to 4 weeks earlier than usual.

3/18/2010 2:51:00 PMAnton- i am very confused by the regs regarding the lake Chelan Chinook fishery. According to the regs it is closed most of the year but i keep seeing your clients holding fish which look to be retained. Can you help me clear this up?

3/18/2010 6:19:00 PMThe simplest thing to know is that the season is year round and there is no limit on Lake Trout (Aka: Mackinaw). Landlocked Chinook Salmon are different. The regulations booklet has a May 1-31 season with a 1 fish per person per day limit. That was superseded by a special opener put in place last April.
